Alexa Ehlers

Alexa Ehlers is a University of Kentucky graduate, having studied and practiced as a Neuro-ICU nurse at UK Medical Center. While her passion for medicine and helping others was great, her love for horses was stronger. Alexa has been running her business, Team Clear Equestrian, out of her family's Clear View Equestrian Center in Lexington, KY since its inception in 2013. She loves teaching and believes in the importance of continuously furthering one’s education.

Alexa is currently one of only three riders in the United States to have received all three of the possible US Pony Club "A" certifications, for Dressage, Show Jumping, and Eventing. She has competed at the North American Junior Young Rider Championships from 2010 to 2013 (four times), placing in the top ten multiple times to help her team earn Gold and Bronze medals. Alexa has also been selected to compete for the USPC Show Jumping team, traveling to Australia in 2013, and was again selected to compete in Canada (2015). Alexa has competed up to the 4* level of Eventing, shown in the 1.30m jumpers, and has competed in many other disciplines. Her goal is to continue growing, helping others, and one day to ride on a senior team for the USET.
